Is a students unable to sign in?
It might happen that students and/or parents/caretakers are having difficulty siging in. Please have the parents/caretakers keep the following in mind:
There are a couple of reasons for students not being able to sign in:
- They use the wrong URL to sign in. Make sure they use https://student.snappet.org .
- They are using an outdated web browser. We advise students to use Google Chrome.
- They tried signing in more than 10 times with the wrong password, their child’s account will be blocked.
- They have added extra spaces in their username or password. Spaces are seen as a character and may therefore keep the student from signing in.
Reset the account
Once an account is blocked, you need to reset the account of that student. Please take the following steps to do so:
- Go to ‘Settings’ and ‘Students’ in your teacher dashboard.
- Click on ‘Edit student’.
- Change the password. You can use the same password as before the account was blocked. Snappet will see it as a new password and will reset the account.
The student is now able to sign in again.
