Extra material: If extra material is needed to do an exercise (for example a text), students are able to open this up by clicking on the book symbol at the bottom of an exercise.

Read out loud function: The students are able to have the exercises read out loud to them by clicking on the speak symbol at the bottom of an exercise. The teacher has to activate this feature for students in the teacher dashboard (see the Teacher dashboard settings page for more information).

Eraser – erase answer: Students are able to erase an answer by clicking on the eraser. The answer stays visible in the teacher dashboard if a student has already submitted the answer on a previous attempt.

Web apps: External web applications can be added to the Snappet tablets. You can do this in the settings in your teacher dashboard. If the web apps are activated in the dashboard, click on ‘Check updates’ in the home screen of the tablet. The new web app appears on the page next to the tablet home page. Students have to swipe right in the tablet home page to access this screen.

Browser settings: It is possible to allow the students to access to the internet browser function on the Snappet tablet. Depending on what the teacher sets up in the dashboard, students are able to access the internet unrestricted (enable browser on tablets) or restriced with only selected pages (enable Child-safe browser on tablets). Students are not able to use to the internet browser, until the browser function is enabled via the teacher dashboard. Students have to swipe right in the tablet home page to access this screen. The symbol of the browser appears on the next page.
