Step 2: Connecting the Snappet Access Point

The Snappet tablets need to be connected to Wi-Fi to function. If you use the Access Points from Snappet, follow the instructions below. If you use the existing Wi-Fi of the school, you can use those credentials to connect with your network.

Placing the Access Point
We advise to place one access point per classroom. Preferably place the access point as centrally in your classroom as possible.

Connecting the Access Point
Make sure the three antennas are securely attached at the appropriate points on the access points. Plug the power adapter into the wall socket and the network cable into an internet connection point in the classroom. Ensure that the internet connection point is really connected to the internet. Turn on the access point by pressing the ‘On/Off’ button. Several lights will light up at the front of the access point.

Note: There is a label at the back of the access point with the name of the Wi-Fi network. Do not remove this label.
